The school aims at a pedagogical introduction to current research topics in Nuclear Physics and an exposure to the latest developments and challenges in this field in the 21st century.

Many of the topics are of an interdisciplinary nature, overlapping with particle physics, astrophysics/cosmology, atomic physics and quantum mechanics. The choice of topics is motivated by what most likely will be the research in the near and far future in view of the existing and upcoming experimental facilities. In view of the above objective, the school will consist of lectures given at a pedagogical level as well as a few invited talks on specialized topics.

Students are invited to submit abstracts for presenting their work at the School. Some amount of financial aid will be available for travel and local expenses of students from outside Bogotá.
